Multifunction tools: little helpers that do big things

A knife, scissors and a screwdriver are tools that are often needed. That's why I think you should always have them to hand, in your trouser pocket or rucksack, for example. Fortunately, there are small, lightweight multi-tools with all the essentials in mini form. Here are some multi-tools for different personalities.
For people with a strong style
The Leatherman Tread looks like a stylish bracelet and comes in handy when you need it. With 25 tools on your wrist, you'll hardly be missing any.

For DIYers
This little multi-tool is not only good-looking, it's more than just practical. The Micra is perfect for the hook box, trouser or jacket pocket, belt holster or even the sewing kit. It's THE gift to give.
For artisans
The multi-talent among Victorinox SwissTools: the pointed pliers with 39 functions, including a handy bit holder with 6 common bits.
For survival specialists
The Leatherman Signal multifunction tool is particularly aimed at adventure fans who want a complete set of equipment for activities such as hunting, fishing, geocaching, camping or hiking. Leatherman's aim was to create a minimalist tool specifically for outdoor activities. It therefore has all the essential functions for setting off on an adventure.
For lifeguards
The Leatherman Raptor: multifunctional medical scissors. These scissors have all the necessary tools for emergency medical personnel, to enable them to work, safely and quickly, in emergency situations. Developed with the collaboration of emergency doctors and fire professionals, the Raptor has the right balance of functionality, without an overload of tools that would complicate sometimes life-threatening situations.
For cyclists
Every cyclist is sure to find the right tool on this model: 20 professional hardened steel tools, with at least 7.5 grams per function.
My big favourite
This version of the Surge Black Ninja features a beautiful handmade Damascus blade. This multifunction tool has 21 functions and makes every knife enthusiast's heart beat faster.

Whether on the bike, to explore new trails off the beaten track, or just to stretch my feet up in the air - I prefer to spend my free time outdoors in nature. This is a great balance for me. But it's also a lot of fun for me to do a DIY project. In such projects I can refresh or further deepen my knowledge of the building sector. Some funny projects have already been created!
