Make yourself a colourful fuzzy picture

For me, carnival is the time when I can really let off steam with colours. The motto for our handicrafts is therefore: the more colourful, the better. This colourful fuzzy picture was created to match the carnival season.
For the picture, you will need a canvas in the size of your choice, a large bowl of colourful craft pompoms, chenille wire in various colours and coloured crepe paper.

Here we go
The instructions for the colourful picture are simple: first cover the entire surface of the canvas with double-sided adhesive tape and then peel off the film. Now your child can attach all the craft materials to the canvas. Then turn it upside down to check that everything sticks.

At the end you have a colourful fuzzy picture that you can hang on the wall of your child's room. The special thing about this picture is how easy it is to make. The double-sided adhesive tape also means there's no mess, which suits me as a mum. At first we used craft glue, which wasn't a good idea. The glue spread everywhere on and next to the picture and the pompoms wouldn't stick.

I think it's great that the kids can shut down and relax while doing this craft. Apart from the part with the sticky tape, they can do everything completely on their own. Another advantage of this craft is that the pompoms and chenille wire can be removed again. If the children don't like it, they can always redesign the picture. Of course, at some point the ribbon will have "glued itself out". However, the craft materials can then be used for other things.

How do you like it? Just looking at these colourful fuzzy pictures puts a smile on a carnival fan's face, doesn't it?

I'm more of a thinker than a doer. Yet I'm still always active: crafting, sewing, writing to-do lists, daydreaming, counting clouds, digging into soil, comforting my two little ones and collapsing into bed after a long day. If it were up to me, each day would have a few extra hours... I wonder if that would be enough.
