Laura's Likes: 7 alternatives to the Adidas Samba on sale
by Laura Scholz
The it-bag of the year is neither expensive nor hard to find. On the contrary, Uniqlo's plain-coloured bag is so affordable and accessible that I come across it everywhere. An attempt to change that.
In February of this year, Japanese retailer Uniqlo launched the "Mini Round Shoulder Bag" - and landed a real hit. Wherever you walk, read or scroll, everyone seems to have lost their heart to the simple crossbody bag.
What makes the bag so good? It doesn't impose itself with boisterous patterns or boastful logos, has seven different colours in its repertoire, is the ideal size to store all your belongings from smartphone to chewing gum, keys and lip balm to a crunch and is as easy to care for as possible thanks to the polyamide-polyester blend. The only drawback? It's all over the place. And turns its wearers into uniform fashion victims - as hot trend pieces tend to do.
Already with the Adidas Samba, which is constantly on sale, I've made an effort to filter out alternatives from our range that are at least as cool for a little more individuality.
I am now pursuing the same mission with the "Mini Round Shoulder Bag". So if you also want to be part of it somehow, but still value a little variety, you could find your new favourite bag of the year here.
Always in the mood for good hits, great trips and clinking drinks.
