In our shop: the Powerplay 2 mouse mat that charges your mouse

Charge your wireless mouse during use: This is a reality with the Powerplay 2 mouse pad. At least if you are using a compatible Logitech mouse.
Wireless mice are great - if you didn't have to charge the battery from time to time. This is no longer necessary with the Powerplay 2 mouse mat from Logitech: this mouse pad continuously charges your (compatible) mouse.

Inductive, wireless charging
A USB cable supplies the mouse mat with power, which is used to inductively charge the mouse. The mouse mat generates an electromagnetic field for this purpose. A corresponding module draws energy wirelessly from this field. At Logitech, this is the so-called charging coin. This is a small disc that is inserted into the slot provided in compatible mice. The charging disc transmits the converted energy from the electromagnetic field to the mouse.
Several Logitech mice are compatible with this technology, such as the Logitech G309 Lightspeed or the Logitech G G502 X Plus. To use the Powerplay 2, simply replace the placeholder in the mouse with the charging coin. The mouse is also charged when it is lying unused on the mouse pad.
The mouse mat has a surface area of around 34 × 28 centimetres. The cable is 1.8 metres long.
Difference to the first Powerplay generation
Powerplay 2 is slightly thinner and has a charging surface that is around 15 per cent larger than the first Powerplay mouse mat. The surface is made of textile and is bendable. While the first version was equipped with a receiver for the wireless mouse, Powerplay 2 is limited solely to the charging function.
Addition: The first version stated that the mat had a 15 per cent larger surface area. This is misleading, what is meant is the charging surface, not the size of the pad. Thank you for pointing this out.
