digitec plays: We torture each other with "Super Mario Maker 2"

With the "Mario Maker 2" you can create your own "Super Mario" levels. Simon and I have done just that. In the livestream at 1pm, we try to play through each other's diabolical creation. It's going to be hell.
If you think Nintendo is good at level design, then you should take a look at the wicked creations of the "Mario Maker 2" community. With the extremely accessible and versatile level editor, you can create the wildest levels. The sequel to the Wii U surprise hit from 2015 offers more of everything. There are new themes such as desert or jungle and "Super Mario 3D World" as a new level style. Numerous new enemy types can be made large or small or can be equipped with wings. A variety of new tools, such as the on-off button, which activates or deactivates blue and red blocks, invite you to experiment.
Nintendo is also offering a story mode this time. It consists of 100 levels, which also serve as a tutorial to explain all the tricks. There are also classic tutorials that introduce you to specific mechanics. And there are plenty of them.

The levels you create can be shared online with other players once you have successfully completed them yourself. Simon and I have each built a level that the other has to play through. You can see the result (it's guaranteed to be loud) in the video above.
If you want to try out our levels yourself, here are the codes:
Phil's Level: Simon's Hell 743-6W5-6LG
Simon's Level: Phil 344-NSB-9GG
"Mario Maker 2" is available for the Switch and was provided to us by Nintendo.
We stream every Wednesday on Youtube. Also check out our Discord channel.
This is how we stream

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
