digitec plays «Steep»: Let’s get out our inner slope rowdy

Who said there won’t be White Christmas this year? We’ve brought you the finest of powder snow. At 12 noon, we’re kicking off our livestream with the game of your choice: «Steep».

To end the year on a high, we let you decide which game we should play. The games with most votes – both had 9% in total – were «Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2» and «Steep». I would have liked to build a giant army of tanks, but we went for the easier option and installed «Steep».

17 games that create a magical winter atmosphere

Ubisoft’s open world winter sporting game might be two years old, but it looks as inviting as ever. Plus, with the hype surrounding snowboard and ski games having melted away, «Steep» made for a welcome change.

So I put on my virtual long johns, threw myself off various snow-covered peaks together with sports aficionado Raphael Knecht and made an effort not to hit any trees. Or let's say, as few as possible.

Ubisoft provided us with the PC version of «Steep».

That’s what we’re streaming with

Ubisoft Steep (Xbox Series X, Xbox One X, Multilingual)

As a child, I wasn't allowed to have any consoles. It was only with the arrival of the family's 486 PC that the magical world of gaming opened up to me. Today, I'm overcompensating accordingly. Only a lack of time and money prevents me from trying out every game there is and decorating my shelf with rare retro consoles.
