Your favorite photo on a water bottle or a little greeting on a gift? With the new Stickerpix devices from Cricut, you can print designs as ready-to-use stickers.

DIY fans are likely familiar with the cutting machines from the brand Cricut. With the Stickerpix line, the manufacturer is now launching its first thermal transfer printers. When printing, the devices also apply a laminate layer over the design, which is intended to make the stickers and photos water- and scratch-resistant.

Stickerpix Print: pre-cut and ready to peel

The smaller of the two models measures approximately 19 x 12 x 8 centimeters and prints on pre-cut sticker sheets. You design your motif in the app, send it to the printer, and then simply peel the finished sticker off the sheet. You can use it to decorate school notebooks, phone cases, storage jars, and much more. You can also print photos and cards in 10 x 15 centimeter format on the special photo paper.

In addition to the machine and an ink cartridge, the Essential Bundle includes eighteen sheets each of round stickers, rectangular stickers, and glossy photo paper. A power adapter is also included.

Stickerpix Print + Cut: stickers in your own shape

The larger model also cuts. After printing, a blade follows the contour of your design, allowing for stickers or labels in almost any shape. The blade only cuts through the sticker layer, while the backing sheet remains intact. This model also prints photos in 10 x 15 centimeter format.

The Stickerpix Print + Cut measures approximately 20 x 28 x 10 centimeters. The Essential Bundle includes the machine with the cutting tool already installed, an ink cartridge, and eighteen sheets each of glossy sticker and photo paper. A power adapter is included here as well.

Designing in the design app

Both devices connect to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. In the Design Space app, you can edit photos, text, and designs, customize templates, or access a library of ready-made motifs. However, if you want to choose from more templates and use all features, you will need a paid Cricut Access subscription. Cricut includes a voucher for a trial subscription with the bundle.
