Book recommendation: this author writes raunchy adaptations of your favourite Disney stories

There’s a lot that’s bad about this book. But one thing’s extremely good. And that’s exactly why I recommend «Learn my Lesson», a book aimed at an open-minded 18+ audience.

A book doesn’t necessarily need to tell a good story for me to enjoy it. In fact, I’d recommend a book that clearly lacks a storyline – as long as it has other qualities.

«Learn my Lesson» by Katee Robert is a prime example- of this. This erotic reimagined version of Hercules is an adaptation from the Disney universe. Which brings us to the topic at hand. While the New York Times bestselling author keeps the character profiles and the suspense deliberately low, the story gains steam with generously scattered, explicitly written sex scenes. And for that, it gets lots of bonus points from me as a Disney fan.

It’s definitely a niche, this type of shallow story that only demands two things from you: the courage to see your favourite Disney heroes, heroines and villains in a new light and a certain sexual open-mindedness (at least in theory) that allows you to read about their unconventional erotic adventures. While you’re at it, put away your high literary standards, too. You won’t need them to enjoy this book.

«Learn my Lesson» is currently only available in English.

Want to find out more? In the video at the top of this article, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about the story – some of it as a reenacted puppet theatre. Only available in Swiss German, I’m afraid.

Too hot to handle? Here are more book recommendations that aren’t raunchy (I promise) but will please adult Disney fans:

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
