The Digitec powerbank is available in two sizes: 15 000 mAh and 27 600 mAh. Both have two USB-C and one USB-A port and can be carried in your hand luggage when travelling by plane.

The green powerbanks that I borrow from kiosks for a lot of money and then never bring back are piled up in a cupboard. It would be so easy: I could always have a charged powerbank in my bag and power for my mobile, headphones or boombox. We now offer you the right model with our own brand.

Handy and small: power bank with 15,000 mAh

With this power bank, you can charge up to three gadgets at the same time. One USB-A port with 18 watts output and two USB-C ports with a maximum of 30 watts are available. When charging multiple devices at the same time, each port has 15 watts. All ports support the charging protocols AFC, FCP, SCP, QC 2.0/3.0, while the USB-C ports also support PD 2.0 and 3.0. A small LED display shows how much juice is left in the battery in 25 per cent increments.

Power in a small space: Powerbank with 27,000 mAh

You can also charge three gadgets with the larger model. The maximum 140 watts of power from the two USB-C ports is enough for one or even two laptops, and there is also a USB-A port with 22.5 watts. If you are charging several gadgets, the two USB-C ports have a maximum output of 65 watts. For USB-C and USB-A, it is 100 watts (USB-C) and 22.5 watts (USB-A). If you use all three ports, the USB-C ports deliver a maximum of 50 watts and the USB-A port 22.5 watts. The display shows you how many watts your devices are drawing, how quickly the power bank is charging and how much power is still available. With exactly 99.36 Wh, you can easily take the powerbank with you in your hand luggage. This is because most airlines allow batteries up to 100 Wh.

We are not reinventing the wheel. The aim of Digitec power banks is to offer good quality at a low price. Very similar powerbanks are available from other manufacturers in our shop, but at higher prices.

Both power banks store power in BTW INR 21700 50EC lithium-ion batteries.

By the way, I visited the manufacturer of the power banks and made sure that the quality was right.

If you want to buy another product, my colleague Lorenz has tested seven power banks.

When I flew the family nest over 15 years ago, I suddenly had to cook for myself. But it wasn’t long until this necessity became a virtue. Today, rattling those pots and pans is a fundamental part of my life. I’m a true foodie and devour everything from junk food to star-awarded cuisine. Literally. I eat way too fast.
