Already a quarter of a century of "6 nimmt!"

25 years ago, a card game appeared on the scene that has remained on the market to this day: "6 nimmt!" To mark its anniversary, toy publisher Amigo has launched a special edition.
"6 nimmt!" has already been translated into over 20 languages and sold in more than 50 countries. This year, the cult game is celebrating its 25th birthday and is being released in a slightly modified anniversary edition. There are now various new special cards that influence the game and make it more varied.

The basic principle is quickly explained: The players simultaneously play a card from their hand, which is then placed in the four rows in the centre of the table one after the other. Whoever places the sixth card in the row must take the row as minus points.
In the new anniversary edition, each player receives three special cards in addition to the number cards. For example, you can temporarily open a fifth row, move a card that is already in a row to another row or place a card between two others. You also have the option of replacing the card you have played with another card from your hand or blocking a row. Once all the cards in hand have been played, the minus points are noted on the enclosed notepad and the next round can begin. The player with the fewest minus points after two rounds wins the game.
The special edition can be played by up to ten players at the same time. In combination with the newly included special cards, this significantly extends the playing time. Instead of the previous 20 minutes, the new "6 nimmt!" can take up to 45 minutes. So if you already liked the original, you're sure to enjoy the anniversary edition too.
