A LEGO Mustang for all Ford fans

Following the Porsche and the Bugatti, LEGO has released a new car. This time, it’s part of the «Creator Expert» collection. It’s the most famous muscle car in the world: the Ford Mustang.

With a history that spans almost 60 years, the Ford Mustang is one of the most famous vehicles in the world. The original models, first built in the mid-sixties, are probably the most beautiful and desirable of all – boasting ground-breaking fastback body shell, smooth proportions, a V8 engine, rear-wheel drive and, of course, the two iconic racing stripes.

The real beauty of the Mustang lies in the fact that its owner can modify it as he or she wishes to with customised compressors, exhaust systems, spoilers and many more parts. However, it’s not easy to get your hands on a real Mustang from the 60s, let alone save enough money to work on and personalise this artwork on four wheels. This is where LEGO comes into it: If you can’t afford a real muscle car, this authentic replica made of LEGO bricks might be the right thing to decorate your living room.

This model is part of the LEGO «Creator Expert» series, which means it’s more complex and richer in detail than most other LEGO sets. On top of the Mustang, this collection also includes an Aston Martin DB5 and a Mini Cooper.

The Mustang set is built of 1,471 pieces and is just over 30 centimetres long. It’s equipped with a detailed Ford Mustang V8 engine, which fits a massive compressor if needed. The rear can also be customised with a removable ducktail spoiler. To give your car a real mean look, adjust the lift of the rear axle.

This really is the perfect toy for every fan of muscle cars. I can’t wait to get my hands on this set – the pictures alone look amazing.
