5 dream jobs we envy Barbie for

Barbie, or Barbara Millicent Roberts as she is known by her real name, not only has a colourful CV, but also an extremely long one. Here are the top 5 of her "jobs" that we would also like to be paid for.
1. mermaid
You could do worse. Swimming with the dolphins and languishing towards the sunset from the surf? I'm right there with you. Meanwhile, the idea is no longer even far-fetched, because there is actually a job as a professional mermaid. So a glimmer of hope for women of flesh and blood (with a bit of plastic here and there).

2. fairy out of passion
A person who never loses their grip despite having wings and likes being paid to wear pink would have preferred to do the same as Barbie and retrain as a fairy. And no, distributing fairy dust doesn't get monotonous in the long run, because: You can obviously specialise here too. If you're clean, you become a soap bubble fairy, if you've got the hang of it, you become a rainbow fairy and if you can't keep your hands off the sparkly stuff, you become a jewellery fairy. And the sweetest among them are quickly promoted to Candy Fairy. F*** caries.
3rd beach babe
Lying around on the beach all day and cashing in? That's cool! That's what Barbie thought when she decided to change her career paradigm again in 2004. She trained in Australia to become a real beach babe. It was there that she (presumably) met and fell in love with surfer Blaine. This was followed by the end of her relationship with Ken - after 43 years (no joke)! But don't worry, the two have found each other again.
4th thoroughbred bride
After the 7-year separation from Ken, this choice of job leaves a rather sour aftertaste. What's more, it's not exactly clear what a typical working day looks like here. Either Babs is touring from wedding fair to wedding fair or she is trapped in a never-ending loop of weddings, divorces and alimony payments. Either way, this profession seems a bit mysterious to me. I repeat: veil-ish.
5th Princess of Hearts
After Diana, it's definitely Barbie. Waving all day, nodding here and there and riding around on a unicorn non-stop? We can assume that this job description was anything but PG. Shelly will probably have to find someone else to look over her shoulder on National Future Day.
Conclusion
If Barbie had sought the help of a career counsellor in time, she would probably have gained some valuable experience today. In any case, we wish Barbie continued success in her future career!

As a massive Disney fan, I see the world through rose-tinted glasses. I worship series from the 90s and consider mermaids a religion. When I’m not dancing in glitter rain, I’m either hanging out at pyjama parties or sitting at my make-up table. P.S. I love you, bacon, garlic and onions.
