Since 1735, the Scheerers families have demonstrably been processing clay as a family business. Originally, pottery was produced for the household sector. These products were completely replaced by porcelain at the end of the 18th century.

The company was converted to the production of hand-turned plant pots for up-and-coming horticulture. Even today, ceramic culture vessels are still used for plant cultivation.

Due to the boom and the expansion of garden centres, the production and trade of garden ceramics and terracotta has been and still is intensified since the beginning of the 90s.
and with steadily increasing success. Through hard work, energy and creativity, the originally modest pottery has become a renowned company operating throughout Europe.
