Genuine handmade from Vietnam
N'go Social sneakers combine French design with craftsmanship from Vietnam. Each N'go Social sneaker is decorated with a traditional fabric woven by hand on a homemade loom.

Promoting equality through handicrafts
N'go Shoes works alongside more than 40 White Thai Minority women from northern Vietnam. Working on the loom is compatible with caring for children and promotes women's equality within the family. By working with N'go Shoes, the women artisans earn a tourist-independent, long-term income for themselves and their families.

Social commitment through the construction of schools
Ronan and Kevin, the founders of N'go Shoes, are regularly on site in Vietnam and support the construction of schools for the children of the artisans with two percent of the annual turnover. Already in the founding year 2018, two schools could be built in the north of the country. In cooperation with the Austrian non-profit organization Sao Bien (www.sao-bien.com), the third school was built in 2019. In the next 3 years Sao Bien wants to build another 10 schools, and with your help maybe even more!

Resource-saving and fair production
The fabrics are woven in the north of Vietnam and made into modern sneakers in the south. The sole of each N'go sneaker is made from a percentage of locally sourced natural rubber, so you leave less microplastic in your path. The leather is tanned in a modern process without chrome salts, so chrome-free. Only the suede is still tanned conventionally. The tannery in Vietnam is ISO 14000-, LWG Gold- and ZDHC-certified.

New (2021): The N'go ECO mesh sneakers, with an upper made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and the Recyclé collection made from chrome-free tanned leather. Up to 68% recycled materials are used, such as sawdust and yarns made from recycled polyester.

The percentage of vegan N'go sneaker styles grows with each new collection. The cotton shoes are PETA-Approved Vegan certified

Socially and ecologically sustainable
Through the project, over 40 women are supported to work from home in a flexible and self-determined way. The environmental impact of production is constantly minimized, the packaging and labels are made of recycled cardboard, the insole can be changed. Discarded, worn N'go sneakers can be donated free of charge to our Second Life program. Your N'go sneakers will be shipped climate neutral.
