When Jon Sumroy, the inventor of mifold, had four children, he lived with his family in America. Jon wanted to make sure that the children always had the right car seat and were therefore always safe in the car. Unfortunately, he found that additional booster seats were not available. In those moments, Jon thought if only he could make a car seat that was truly compact, very durable, and could be taken anywhere - then his kids would always be safe, no matter whose car they were in. Jon and his team have done it: according to the manufacturer, mifold is the most advanced, compact and mobile infant car seat in the world. It's more than ten times smaller than a traditional booster seat and just as safe. It is called the "grab-and-go booster seat" because it could be taken virtually anywhere, be it in a school bag, backpack, a sports bag, and used at any time as a second seat when traveling or in a cab.
