Klimba

Already in 1997 Christian Renggli created the first prototype of the sounding marble run. The track was further developed until the first marble run was sold in 2004. The Klimba marble run is manufactured in the Ekkharthof workshop for the disabled near Kreuzlingen. By buying a Klimba marble run you support the work of this workshop. Klimba is a modular marble run, whose plug-in system allows an almost unlimited number of different construction variations. The joy of playing is increased with Klimba, because composing is added to building. Different high carillon tones can be inserted into the track. Tracks of different lengths correspond to semitone, quarter tone and eighth tone notes. The melody is defined with the sound plates. When the ball bounces down, it hits the individually attached tone plates. With the enclosed composing instructions, even small children can build melodies that sound good. Klimba's musical marble tracks combine fun and creative use of music.
