Before a pair of Kessler gloves are finished, they go through over 20 handcrafted steps:
Beginning with the inspection and selection of the skins in the leather warehouse, to the pulling of the soft leather over the edge of the table and the cutting of the individual parts by hand, followed by the application with ornaments or metal parts, the filigree stitching on the quilting machine - which unites the at least 20 individual parts into a pair of gloves - to the pulling in and hemming of the lining, to the so-called dressage - the 'bringing into shape' of the glove - and the final quality control.
At least 15 pairs of hands have given their collective expertise with the utmost care, practiced hands, trained eyes and attention to detail, so that you can hold in your hands a quality product of the highest standards of comfort and design.
