BenQ Corporation is a Taiwanese manufacturer of high-tech products and was founded in 1984. The company was once part of Acer, until it became independent under the leadership of K. Y. Lee. In the meantime, BenQ has over 100,000 employees and is one of the largest producers of information and entertainment technology.
Today, BenQ is known for its monitors and beamers, among other things.
