Your choice if you are serious about indoor rowing

I did some light research before I bough the Model D, 'light' because I stopped soon as all suggestions resulted in 'Buy Concept2'. So far after some 3 weeks I am not sorry. It does exactly what I expected, the only feature that should be improved is the noise the flywheel generates (which is no surprise), still very decent. If, for instance, you plan to work out early morning, your household members may not appreciate it though.

If you keep it in 2 pieces upright, putting it in operational condition takes like a minute.

I cannot say anything about maintenance but according to the manual it seems easy. 

Pro

  • Works great
  • Excellent build quality, robust when in operation
  • Easy to manipulate (fold/unfold), easy to put together first time
  • Delivered in really neat package
  • The PM5 monitor is some sort of industry standard, in terms of what it does / shows / monitors

Contra

  • May be more expensive than some competition but I believe it's worth it
  • On the noisy side like any indoor rower
