Fantastic....with a good internet connection

With a good internet connection both at home and at your destination via wi-fi or mobile hotspot it works very well - I've used it many times whilst away on holiday in other countries. However without a good internet connection it won't work at all so it is important that this is understood before buying. It may need some small adjustments to your router settings (port forwarding) for it to connect to your PS5 remotely.

The addition of cloud gaming for Premium PSN users is a game changer as a selection of 200+ games are now available without needing to have your PS5 on and the connection tends to be a bit more reliable as the home internet isn't an issue. Some of these games are very old, but there are a good number of AAA titles in there too and is being added to all the time.

Unfortunately only Sony's Pulse Elite/Explore headphones/earphones can be connected wirelessly, although wired headphones can be used as an alternative with a 3.5mm jack.

FPS games can be tricky due to the smaller screen and potentially a bit of lag (although you start to get used to it), but other games (such as Ghost of Tsushima and Cyberpunk, both in cloud streaming) work exceptionally well

Pro

  • Very comfortable to use, haptic feedback, good screen
  • Connects to home PS5 both at home or remotely via wi-fi or mobile hotsport
  • Addition of cloud gaming for PS Premium subscribers works very well

Contra

  • Relies on a good internet signal at both ends - without one it doesn't work
  • May need some tweaks to your router settings to get it working remotely
  • No Bluetooth headphone connection

    Hallo

Was müsste man einstellen am Router Zuhause?

Look at how to ‘port forward’ your PS5 on your router. This will open certain ports on your router that will mean the PS5 can be accessed from another network. I had to do this on my fritzbox and it works perfectly now

    Also
make sure you have remote play enabled on your PS5

Also check if your hotspot is type NAT2 or NAT3 - it has to be NAT2. I think you have to speak with your provider to change it to NAT2 if you have NAT3. I am with Sunrise and it works well.

Ich frag Mal bei Salt nach, aktuell zeigt es mir Nat3 an bei Portal zu Hotspot. Danke
