Google steigt mit der Daydream View bei knapp 70 Euro in den Markt ein und bietet somit das kostengünstigere Angebot gegenüber dem Start-Angebot von Samsung. Doch der Vergleich hinkt gewaltig. Die Gear VR wird zur Zeit für knapp 60 Euro angeboten und befindet sich schon in Massen auf dem Markt, da Samsung die VR-Brille als kostenlose Dreingabe zum Spitzenmodell Galaxy S7 und Galaxy S7 edge angeboten hat...
Die Gear VR punktet schon mal mit dem Oculus-Bedienmenü. Zudem ist die Installation unkompliziert, die Bedienung klappt präzise, die App-Vielfalt wächst. Der Tragekomfort könnte aber besser sein, zumal es auf Dauer unter der Brille unangenehm heiß wird. Ins Gestell passen aber nur Smartphones von Samsungs aktueller S6- und S7-Reihe.
Gear VR ist vielmals geiler als der günstige Cardboard-Einstieg von Google, dafür braucht man aber auch zwingend ein Galaxy S6 und eben die Brille. Zum Zeitpunkt des Artikels investiert man dafür locker 500 Euro. Dafür bekommt man aber auch eine echt geile Erfahrung.
