Want to shape the ERP and webshops of Digitec and Galaxus, used by 4M+ customers? Join a cross-functional Software & ML Engineering team working on the backend of our e-Commerce platform. Focusing on the Order Management & Finance domains, we’re looking for a motivated individual who is eager to solve high scale problems within a dynamic and supportive team.
La tua responsabilità
- As part of a Scrum team, you’re taking part in the entire process from conception to implementation and operation of solutions, including code reviews and support.
- Play a key role in shaping the quality, maintainability and extensibility of our E-Commerce platform.
- Adopting a DevOps mindset, you ensure that your code runs smoothly and stays stable on prod.
- Build distributed systems running on Azure Kubernetes clusters with a modern .NET C# stack.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team of software and ML engineers to enhance the automation rate of our in-house ERP.
- Be a team player: share ideas, give and receive feedback, and help create a positive and open team culture.
Le tue competenze
- Higher education (ETH/UNI/FH) in computer science or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with .NET C# and ASP.NET Framework.
- Strong database fundamentals (MSSQL, BigQuery, MongoDB) and understanding on how to write efficient SQL as well as usage of ORMs (e.g. EfCore).
- Familiarity with cloud computing and experience deploying to at least one of the big cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS). Ideally, you’ve already gained hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- The capacity to adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment.
- You’re not afraid by complex systems or business processes - you see them as a chance to learn and grow.
- Although the focus is on Backend Development, any experience in Machine Learning, Data Engineering or Frontend Development is a plus.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
