I suffer of light to mild insomnia since some years. I've used this blanket for 10 days, and I'll keep using it. Here are my impressions.
Although it's not really helping me falling asleep any quicker than normal, I feel more rested after sleeping with this blanket and it looks like I wake up less often during the night. It actually helps feeling cozy in the bed, and well comfortable. This is very useful because, since I can't sleep very much, at least I can improve my sleep quality.
The blanket is made with good materials, and even if its size is written in description you never realize how small it is until on your bed: this blanket is for one person only, so I feel it's a little too much overpriced - especially when you can buy similar blankets for about 150.- CHF.
I usually keep my bedroom radiators off to sleep in a cold room, with this blanket you'll need an additional duvet for being warm enough (and to keep the blanket in place if you move a lot during sleep). I find the all-seasons duvet Rödtoppa from IKEA a perfect match. I feel, by the way, this blanket alone could be still too warm for summer.
Attention: I usually sleep on my belly. The first couple of days I woke up with back pain, after some researches I discovered that sleeping with a weighted blanket in that position may actually give you pain, especially if you have a bad mattress and/or a blanket too heavy. After flipping my mattress and falling asleep on my back, I didn't experience that pain anymore. Keep that in mind if you sleep on your belly (I have a 6800g blanket and I weight 72kg).
