Featuring Mizuno Enerzy NXT technology in the midsole and Mizuno Enerzy XP technology in the insole, the shoe delivers exceptional flexibility, energy return, and responsiveness for explosive jumps. Seeking a better fit and lightweight performance, the new Reno Woven material has been adopted as the main material for the upper. The new five-layer structure of the upper improves fit and lightness. The large-slot eyelet structure creates a snug fit that wraps around the whole foot. This shoe offers soft cushioning and high energy return thanks to the combination of Mizuno Enerzy NXT in the forefoot midsole and high-performance Mizuno Enerzy XP sockliner for an exceptional mix of flexibility, energy return, and lightness. The new Wave structure has been developed to maximize support for jumping movements. The extension of the plate beyond the forefoot provides maximum support for stability during take-off and energy return during jumps. The new XG rubber improves grip by approximately 17% compared to conventional XG rubber, offering powerful performance for fast and intense movements. The rounded heel structure encourages jumping movements from the heel and improves stability when stepping forward.
