Gutes Produkt fällt durch Treiber auf die Schnauze

DisplayLink tönt zu gut, um wahr zu sein? Ist auch nicht wahr. Mit dem alten Treiber ruckelt das Bild wie gestört, mit dem Neuen wird der Clamshell-Modus noch (seit 6 Monaten) nicht unterstützt und das UI skaliert nicht richtig.
Bei
Beiden wirkt das Bild etwas verschwommen.
EDIT: angeschlossen sind 2 mal 4K, über die Performance bei anderer Konfiguration kann ich nichts sagen.

    Thank you for your review. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    A possible reason for issues you are experiencing may be related to your Monitor/s Refresh rate / Frequency configuration in Display
    Properties. Perhaps it is set to a wrong value. Try to change it to another value.

    If that doesn't help, I recommend opening a support case so we can have a proper ticket and help you resolve this issue. Just copy what you already wrote in your review and send it to our support e-mail address listed on the product's packaging/instruction manual:

    support@itecproduct.com.

    Also please provide us with:

    1. Your Mac Model (you can usually find it on the sticker on the flip/bottom side)

    2. OS running on it and its full version

    3. Your monitor/s Brand and Model you've simultaneously connected to Docking Station.

    Based on that we can make further analysis and give you further advice and/or try to re-create the problem in our lab.

    We also advise testing this docking station with another laptop to see if it behaves the same way and then state that laptop's Brand, Model, and OS. That helps us as well. By all means, if it works fine on another laptop, it doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist. We just want to see if it acts the same way even when connected to another laptop.

    Hello i-tec Support Team,

    thank you for taking the time to respond.
    Sadly, I don't think you will be able to help other than telling me to wait for the DisplayLink people to fix these bugs.

    I really like the quality
    and idea behind this dock, and think you developed a great product, just sadly based on a very flawed technology. If I search the web, the amount of people having issues with DisplayLink overshadows the seeming brilliance of it.

    I did some more research and decided to switch to a Thunderbolt dock, because two DisplayPort streams are natively supported over one TB3 uplink instead of relying on some framebuffer-relaying-weirdness.
