Great light!

Super light! Bright, versatile, durable. From comments and questions and the product description it was really unclear before ordering whether or not this Nitecore MH20 would include a battery or not. I can say for sure that I ordered only the light, but when I received the MH20, mine did include one battery (NL1823-18650) already installed inside the light, in the box (it was not packaged separately). I ordered 5 of these lights at one time to give as gifts). All 5 lights included the battery. It was also a nice surprise to find they were fully charged as well! I don't think you can fault Galaxus/Digitec for this uncertainty about the battery, because the retail packaging does not state if a battery is included. The instruction manual in the box does provide a list of accessories, but that list does not include a battery (see picture). Furthermore, the instruction manual in the box does list three different compatible battery options, and also gives directions on how to insert two different kinds of batteries - either one long 18650 battery or two CR123 batteries. So, who knows if you will get a battery included in the purchase - it seems that this is out of the control of GAlaxus/Digitec - somewhere, either NITECORE decides at the factory, or the importer for DE/CH adds them - you won't know until you get it. That kind of sucks considering the price you pay for the light. It's a risk: ordering the light first, open the box if a battery was included - if not - it may suddenly cost you an additional 20 or 30 CHF to buy a battery for your cool new light to work. But, as I said, all of mine included the battery, already installed inside the light: one NITECORE 2300mAh 18650 NL1823 3.7V 8.5Wh Li-ion Rechargeable battery. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. plus
