Terra Mystica: Merchants of the Seas is an extension for Terra MysticaTerra Mystica factions have opened their doors to businesses beyond the Terra Mystica: Merchants of the Seas trading post. Trade between the factions has intensified thanks to their brand new ships sailing on rivers. A new large building, the shipyard, improves your navigation or range and produces ships with twenty extensions of the faction chart.The factions that export receive VP and resources based on the building to which they deliver. The factions that import and receive an opponent's ship will gain power. The ships will dig and build in the adjacent hexagons, so be careful! Ships can also be consumed and form new homes. The ship and Habitat movement actions add a new element of tactical movement to Terra Mystica's already deep strategy while maintaining perfect information.Factions must also adapt to a brand new set of 12 round score tiles, four new Ship-related Favors, three new bonus tiles, three additional power actions, city tiles and two maps: Lakes and Fjords of loons. Cards and most items can also be used with the basic game if you wish.Fire and Ice extension is not required, but the necessary equipment is provided.
