Looks great, but rubbish performance

I bought 2 of these at the same time and both broke after a few months of use. I wish I had bought a regular bell.

The trigger is on a spring that is too weak to hold the plastic trigger in place. after a few weeks it would just lightly tap the bell and make no sound. The alternative is that the black plastic ringer would get trapped in an unusable position and need to be fixed every time you want to use the bell.

The plastic ringer on one of my bells fell off after about 2 months and i threw the other one in the bin.

it looks ok, and is minimal profile, but will basically be a useless component on your handlebars after a month or so. mehr
