(Thea Mantwill) In ICHNVSA werden wir zu stillen Mitreisenden, die Talisa Lallai auf einen fotografischen Roadtrip durch die Insel Sardinien begleiten. Im Frühling 2022 machte sich die in Deutschland lebende Künstlerin auf, jene Orte zu erkunden, die die Szenerie ihrer familiären Herkunft bilden. Auf der Spurensuche ihres sardischen Vaters steht ICHNVSA für die Überlagerung von Geschichte. Aus dem griechischen „Ichnôussa“ (Fußabdruck) abgeleitet, ist dies der ursprüngliche Name für Sardinien, dem die Form der Insel gleicht.

In the spring of 2022, the German artist set out to explore the places that form the background to her family origins. On the search for traces of her Sardinian father, ICHNVSA stands for the overlaying of history. Derived from the Greek 'ichnôussa' (footprint), this is the original name for Sardinia, which the shape of the island resembles.
