System & Workplace Engineering at Galaxus means taking ownership in developing our innovative IT workplace solutions across all three operating systems: Windows, Mac, and Linux. In our offices, you’ll be responsible for the local network, Wi-Fi, and other workplace infrastructure. With your passion for solving complex technical challenges, you’ll help us automate wherever possible and ensure we’re future-ready. As a System & Workplace Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely across teams and departments.

Deine Aufgaben

You’ll help evolve our highly specialized Linux workplaces for our shops and logistics hubs (Mini but mighty: the mini computers getting the job done).
Together with our Security team, you’ll develop smart security solutions for our devices, tools, and access points—enabling our employees to work optimally, efficiently, and securely.
You’ll design and implement innovative solutions for centrally managed modern IT workplaces and conferencing systems—with a strong focus on user experience, security, and automation.
You’ll ensure smooth data flow across our offices and shops. In close collaboration with our Network team, you’ll take ownership of our local networks, keep everything running, and find clever solutions when things go wrong.
You’ll develop efficient support solutions that help employees quickly find the assistance they need—through tools like knowledge bases, Q&A platforms, and more.

Deine Fähigkeiten

You’ve completed an IT apprenticeship (EFZ) with a focus on system engineering and bring several years of experience in system & workplace engineering as well as network management? Perfect! You’re exactly who we’re looking for.

Your Technical Skillset:

Confident handling and deployment of Linux systems
Installation and troubleshooting of switches and Wi-Fi access points
Solid expertise in Microsoft Intune / Autopilot and Entra ID
You’re a pragmatic, self-driven problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and applies your knowledge with purpose

Your Mindset:

Creative & unconventional: You think in networks, not straight lines. “Thinking outside the box” isn’t a buzzword to you—it’s just how your brain works
