    Has unfortunately not proven itself

    My conclusion after a month in Africa with the North Face Base Camp Duffel 95L: The bag is very robust and rainproof. But that's it with the positive. Negative: low carrying comfort, inside the bag only two mesh pockets and thus few options to organize the contents. The contents can also not be fixed as in bags of competitors; so if the bag is not filled to the brim, after a while everything is in a different place than you had put it. Likewise, the zipper causes problems again and again. All in all, I cannot recommend this product.

    good for longer trips but without much walking.

    Enough space for a good 3-4 weeks of hitchhiking holidays.
    Also very robust.
    Not very comfortable to wear for long periods.

    Can I recommend to everyone - lots of storage space and practical for travel by public transport.

    Exactly meets my expectations. Used 2 times for trips by train and bus where even longer walks were necessary. Would not give the bag more. Backpack straps could be erwas more comfortable for longer walks - evtl a waist belt would be the solution.
