PFC-free water-repellent: Perfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) are commonly used to make outdoor clothing and shoes water-repellent for the long term. These substances are suspected of being carcinogenic. Additionally, they break down very slowly and remain in the environment. Therefore, we have switched to alternative chemicals that offer the same performance but are safe for people and the environment.

Metatomical footbed: This insole and last have been specifically designed to optimally support the arch of the foot. Special attention has been given to the big toe joint. Metatomical is a coined term combining metatarsal (referring to the midfoot bones) and anatomical.
