KangaROOS Originals - Hot Shot Lo Varsity

When the Hot Shot LO was reintroduced a few seasons ago, its look was modernized. With a mesh base, this year's version of the classic sneaker-ball silhouette is ready for summer. The leather inserts on the side and under the eyelet are complemented by buttery soft suede inserts on the fender, forefoot, and quarter of the heel. The molded plastic lacing system and double eyelets at the top are a nice nod to the OG version that first appeared in our catalogs around 1988. The tongue features KangaROOS' secret pocket on the inside, and the lining is again made of mesh. The outsole is made of abrasion-resistant rubber, ensuring good grip and pleasant durability. This fantastic retro sneaker is enhanced by a little extra. Where you would normally find a ROOS lettering on the side, this version of the Hot Shot features a small window displaying an American flag instead of the company logo. A beautiful woven label on the KangaROOS tongue and an extra pair of color-matching shoelaces complete this KangaROOS Hot Shot LO Varsity.
