Fjällräven Kajka

Durable, comfortable, and packed with features. Despite its relatively unassuming appearance, Kajka is a modern trekking backpack in classic Fjällräven style. It has now been upgraded with enhanced features and an innovative, one-of-a-kind wooden frame that has significantly lower negative environmental impacts while maintaining the same stability and functionality as the previous aluminum frame. The carrying system, with ergonomically shaped shoulder straps, is tailored to the female anatomy and alleviates the burden of even very heavy loads. The user-friendly Perfect Fit Adjustment System can be easily adjusted to individual back length and shoulder width. The hip belt is also designed for the female anatomy, providing high carrying comfort even on long hikes. The main compartment, which can be divided horizontally, can be loaded and unloaded from both the top and the front (front access) and is equipped with a snow protection cover. The bottom compartment can be used as a wet/dry compartment to keep damp and dirty clothes separate from the rest of the gear. There are practical zippered pockets on the lid, sides, and hip belt. The lid can be removed and worn as a hip or chest pouch. Two compression straps on each side, attached to narrow rods, ensure even and effective compression without blocking access to the side pockets. Material loops on the lid and bottom, a whistle on the chest strap, and a rain cover with reflective elements. Kajka is praised worldwide by hikers and the specialist press. Among other accolades, the backpack was chosen as Product of the Year in 2009 by the Swedish outdoor magazine Utemagasinet and was the test winner in the large backpack test by Finnish outdoor retailer Retki in 2011.
