Tasting notes
Intense, dark garnet red with light violet reflections. The bouquet is expansive, ethereal with notes of plum and beautiful hints of roasted dried fruit, especially almond and hazelnut, as well as nuances of licorice, sweet tobacco and cinnamon. Warm, dry attack with fresh fruit notes. Its compact texture is supported by a pleasant acidity and the tannins are perfectly integrated. The body is dense and has melting and depth. Its complexity is enhanced on the finish with multi-faceted fruit and spice tones.

Vinification
12 months aging in French oak

Culinary recommendation
Ideal with strong risotto, pasta with meat sauce, red meat, grilled meats, brasato, game and mature and hard cheeses.
