The history of the Torrevento winery began with the dream of Francesco Liantonio, who returned to his homeland of Apulia from New York in 1923 to produce olive oil and wine. Francesco Liantonio Jr. focuses on indigenous grape varieties from Apulia such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Aglianico, and Bombino Nero. Tasting notes: Ruby red color. The aromas are very intense, with a full and fragrant bouquet of ripe cherries and red fruits. On the palate: harmonious, full-bodied flavor.
