When I was on early duty, my wife used to get upset when she woke up early in the morning around 3am because of my razor. I had, or rather still have, a Braun Series 9. Now I've got this Philips and my wife is thrilled. It is much, much quieter than the Braun Series 9 shaver. I myself don't notice much of a difference except for the volume when shaving. It's a bit quicker with the Philips, but you can't use the long hair cutter like with the Braun.

purchased this productSoftly softly the whiskers drizzle....
Very quiet and handy. A very good device, but not a substitute for wet shaving. I often have to trim with a wet razor because I can't get everything as clean and deep as I would like with the razor. Basically, however, it is a very good device.
I have replaced the charging and cleaning station because it is too big.
