According to the description, the scale has a 5-year guarantee. Why am I asked when ordering if I want to extend the warranty to 5 years for 58.20 CHF?

Tanita gives a 5-year guarantee on the scale. There is nothing to dispute about that. Digitec has made a mistake and will correct it. Digitec has often corrected the guarantee - you only have to refer to the manufacturer's guarantee.

Hello, I have just unpacked my scale. I have a few questions: - how to put the "location code" ? When I turn on the scale, I go through the information requested, already filled in the rest, it only puts the profile of the person, and continuing, nothing happens. The geographical code is not requested - The same goes for the display colour, there is no possibility to choose it. In short, another user guide that does not follow the steps of the device from the moment it is turned on. - How to make sure that the initial measurement, deleted (it shows me no measurement in the Tanita application) is not found in the CSV history and in the pdf? Thank you in advance for your reply!

Is there a trick to make the Bluetooth connection permanent under Android? When I pair the scale again, it transfers the data. A second weighing does not work with the app and the message "disconnected" appears.

I always open the My Tanita app, press the + in the top right, select my scale, then press the big sync icon and when it says weigh, I stand on the scale. That way it always records the result. Hope this helps...
