Description

Based on the MAX7313 chip, this board provides 16 I/O ports
I2C-compatible serial control. Each I/O port can be individually
configured as either an open-drain current-sinking output rated at
50mA and 5.5V, or a logic input with transition detection The outputs
are capable of driving LEDs, or providing logic outputs with external
resistive pullup up to 5.5V. PWM current drive is integrated with 8
bits of control. Four bits are global control and apply to all LED
outputs to provide coarse adjustment of current from fully off to
fully on with 14 intensity steps.(...) The MAX7313 supports hot
insertion. On the board, footprint for two optionnals pull up
resistors (on SDA left: -10000px; top: 0px; width: 1px; height: 1px;
overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden;">So in case of several boards
on the bus, one pair of pull up resistors can be easilly add. Using
smd jumper combinations, the board can be configured to any one of 64
IC addresses. This way, you can control the intensinty of up to 16 x
