5 Colors and Reducer The Createx Illustration ColorsTM are newly developed, refined water-based airbrush colors, optimized for use with Dru Blair's "Color Buffer System". The Illustration Colors allow
very fine detail work. They can be redissolved, remoistened and are very suitable for etching. The Illustration Colors are developed and optimized for fine art artists and illustrators without relying on highly opaque base colors. The Createx Illustration ColorsTM are lightfast. The same high quality pigments are used as for the Wicked ColorsTM and the AutoAir ColorsTM. The decisive difference is the resin used. The illustration colours do not dry to a hard, insoluble surface layer, but can be redissolved with the help of ammoniacal glass cleaner. Another important property of the resin is its good erasability, so that only as much is erased as the artist intended. Compared to the very elastic and resistant Wicked ColorsTM , the illustration colors can be removed very easily. The Createx Illustration Colors can be used undiluted. They can also be sprayed directly from the bottle through small nozzles starting from 0.15 mm at low pressure. In contrast to Wicked Colors, Wicked Detail Colors and Auto Air Colors, which can also be applied with spray guns, the Illustration Colors have been developed only for airbrush devices. They are not suitable as a primer. The Createx Illustration Reducer (thinner with accelerated drying) and the Createx Illustration Transparent Base (thinner or paint without pigments) give the illustrator the possibility to dilute the illustration colours as desired and make them even more transparent according to personal preferences. Most artists will already be able to work excellently with the undiluted paint from the bottle. Delayed cross linking: This feature makes Createx Illustration Colors unique from other airbrush colours. It allows the artist to work on the colour at different stages of the curing process. As the color cures slowly, the degree of hardness also changes. Immediately after spraying on the paint, it can be easily erased or removed with another tool, then the paint slowly becomes more resistant and a variety of artistic effects can be achieved. For the use of a clear lacquer we recommend a urethane clear lacquer. The illustration colors also work very well as candy color in the custom painting area with an airbrush device. Paint spray guns do not produce a satisfactory spray pattern due to the very low viscosity of the colours.
