A cordless screwdriver/driver - called cordless screwdriver for short - is a tool with which screwing and drilling work can be carried out independently of the mains supply. Cordless screwdrivers are the most common cordless tools, which differ in the following characteristics.

    The electric voltage of the cordless screwdriver is indicated in Volt (V). It shows the performance of the battery. The higher the voltage of the cordless screwdriver, the more power the tool has.
    The capacity of a battery is indicated in ampere hours (Ah). The higher this value is, the longer the battery charge will last.

    In order to ensure a fast tool change with high accuracy, the tool holders (tool spindle interface) are standardized. For drills, cordless screwdrivers, hammer drills and the like, quick-action drill chucks, SDS-Plus, SDS-Max or SDS-quick drill chucks are generally used.
