These burners are only blue (rather bluish) for a very short time when ignited, until the final white colour is reached (10-20 seconds). The light is very pleasant and especially good in fog, rain and snow. The light output is sufficient but not earth-shattering. Basically, I would be satisfied with the product if only the service life was a little longer. This is the second time I've had these bulbs installed, and the second time they even broke within the warranty period. According to my calculations, these burners only last a total of 1000 hours, not 3000 as stated.
