WARNING - this is a style over substance item when used as is.
- Limited weight bearing: do to poor engineering/construction design this corner sofa does not support more than one perhaps two people without cracking/creaking/wood splitting.
- Limited outdoor usage: fragility of the wood does not allow for direct exposure to unprotected outside usage.
- Limited longevity: as is, clearly this will not last long (assume 2-3 years).
Usage: We purchased this 1.5 weeks ago (end of May 2021). Three people put it together and three people sat on it. The cracking/splitting of the thin wood slates started immediately. We called a carpenter in to reinforce it (photos) and had four people sit on it with a positive outcome. It is now both stylish and supportive/comfortable.
Note: Given the rapid growth in the Galaxus company and their current scaling difficulties - they are now, more than ever, responsible for the quality of the products they sell. In this instance, with a good product 'base' I would assume that they will go back to the manufacturer and make re-tooling suggestions to correct the flaws on behalf of their clients.

- Cushions discolor extremely quickly (within 3 weeks)
- Cushions discolor differently
- Wood creaks again and again when sitting down
- Wood does not look very stable
- Wood is poorly oiled, if it is not coated with oil from the beginning again it discolors
- Cushions are not waterproof and must be taken inside when it rains
- The zipper on the cushion cover broke the first time I took it off 2 cushions.
- Plastic cover on the seat cushions, in the sun you sweat extremely on it

I was first extremely shocked by the size of the shipment. The package was so abnormally large, I was very lucky that the shipment has fit into the elevator. Therefore, necessarily look before whether you bring the package at all in the apartment! The individual pieces were very well packed with styrofoam and foam pads. The instructions are each in the package and tied to the products in a clear bag. Assembly was a breeze, just screw in a few screws. The assembly can be done well alone.
A very big minus point: the accuracy of fit of the screws. At 2 or 3 points I could not put screws because the holes did not match. So far, the lounge is stable and could hold 2 people loosely. I really hope that it stays that way.
In some places the metal was quite scratched and had some visible/feelable dents. But with such materials you just have to expect such defects. Personally, I think that the wood looks very nice, noble and high-quality.
On the whole, I am very satisfied with the lounge so far. Yes the upholstery is quite hard, but that will settle with time. I recommend everyone to buy a cover, just because of the pollen.
