Mahaloplants Stromanthe Sanguinea

The Stromanthe sanguinea, also known as the striped plant or Tricolor, originates from the tropical rainforests of South America and captivates with its colorful leaves and striking colors.

Light & Location:
The Stromanthe prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves. Ideal temperatures range from 20-25 °C, and it requires high humidity.

Watering:
Water regularly every 7-10 days in spring and summer when the top layer of soil (about 2-3 cm) is dry. In autumn and winter, watering can be reduced to every 10-14 days. Use low-calcium, room-temperature water.

Fertilization:
During the growing months (spring and summer), fertilize every 4-6 weeks with a balanced liquid fertilizer. No fertilization is necessary in autumn and winter.

Humidity:
High humidity is essential for the well-being of this plant. Regularly mist the leaves or use a humidifier.

Note:
The Stromanthe sanguinea is not suitable for consumption and should be kept away from pets.
