The VisorLight safety helmet is made of polyethylene and features an integrated, double-sided coated, scratch-resistant, and retractable visor made of shatterproof polycarbonate. It includes a 6-point webbing interior, a circumferential sweatband, a pull-down helmet shell with a novel design, a rain gutter, and recesses in the ear area for a better fit of hearing protection. The helmet also has ventilation holes and plug-in slots for hearing protection, making it suitable for spectacle wearers. It meets the EN 397 standard for helmets and the EN 166 standard for visors. The size is adjustable by a VOSS Lock twist lock. Additional tests include a cold test down to -30° C and artificial aging, with a service life of up to 5 years.
