IFM KG6000

The KG6000 is a capacitive sensor specifically designed for applications in automation technology. With a compact M18 x 1 thread and a length of 92.5 mm, the sensor can be easily integrated into various systems. It offers a switching distance of 0.5 to 30 mm and can be configured as either a normally closed or normally open switch, providing high flexibility in application. The sensor operates with direct current (DC) and utilizes a PNP circuit, while the M12 connector ensures a simple and secure electrical connection. Thanks to its protection ratings of IP 65, IP 67, and IP 69K, the KG6000 is optimally protected against dust and water, making it ideal for use in demanding environments. The temperature range of -25 to 80 °C allows for operation in various climatic conditions, while the switching frequency of up to 30 Hz enables fast and precise switching operations.
