This not only allows for quick and cost-effective assembly but also reliably prevents annoying squeaking of the wooden surface at the screw shaft. Since the loads are transmitted through the thread, the head serves only to accommodate a drive and can therefore be made very small. It can be used space-savingly in the tight installation environment of tongue and groove and does not protrude into the adjacent component. This ensures a precise connection of the profile timbers. In addition to the head and thread, the HECO-TOPIX tip offers another advantage when processing tongue and groove: the patented HECO-TOPIX drill tip reduces splitting effects, making it possible to use it in the thinnest cross-sections with small edge distances.
