Shimano Kairiki 8 3000m

The new Shimano Kairiki 8 is an updated 8-strand braided line made in Japan, now featuring VT braiding technology. It is a very strong and smooth PE line, perfect for casting over long distances. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm with an impressive breaking strength of 46.7 kg. It has the ideal properties for spinning in both freshwater and saltwater, as it is highly sensitive and smooth, which also contributes to noise reduction. Additionally, besides Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two more colors will be available: a very striking yellow and a multicolor option. The multicolor is particularly interesting for fishing at greater depths. Due to its softness and small diameter, the Kairiki 8 is an excellent line for jigging, as it has low water resistance and is very sensitive due to a maximum stretch of less than 3.0%.
