The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is an updated 4-carrier braided line, manufactured in Japan and equipped with the "VT construction method" braiding technology. It is a very strong and smooth PE line, perfect for long casts. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.315 mm, with an impressive breaking strength of 29.8 kg.
It has the ideal properties for spinning in both freshwater and saltwater, as it is very sensitive and smooth, which also reduces noise generation. In addition to Mantis Green and Steel Grey, there will be two more colors: a very striking Orange and Multi Color. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for fishing in deep waters.
Due to its softness and small diameter, the Kairiki 4 is an ideal line for jigging, as it has low water resistance and is also very sensitive with a maximum stretch of less than 3.0%.
