The ultra-light blanks of the Cardiff Exlead Competition are made with Spiral X Core technology and Nanopitch technology. These advanced carbon technologies combine to reduce rotational twist when the rod is compressed during casting or when retrieving the lure, resulting in greater precision and a soft action during the fight. The 60SULS model features a solid Taftec Infinity tip that allows for better feel and even animating the lightest micro spoons. As expected from such a high-end rod, the ring train is equally impressive, featuring a combination of lightweight titanium Shimano X-Guide rings and Fuji SiC Titanium type K, an exclusive ultra-light ergonomic Shimano Ci4+ reel seat, and a Carbon Monocoque handle for maximum sensitivity and feedback.
